JJ has become my boyfriend and my regular spot for sushi, since it's quite close to us and out of the numerous sushi places nearby it is the obvious choice. Tha Joint, though we both enjoy it, is typically packed; JJ is usually busy when we go, but we haven't had to wait so far. Our favorite things to get here are the salmon, Donald Duck, and eel nigiri, and for rolls we like the Speeding, the Godzilla, and the Alaska. We tend to try at least one new roll each time. Some of their rolls are a bit heavy on the sauces/toppings and especially when the roll is deep fried it's a bit overwhelming. But if you know what to order you'll have a good time. All the wait staff I've interacted with here over the years have been helpful and attentive. It's fun to watch the chefs prepare the food as you eat and if you have a little screen-goblin with you they can watch the TV mounted on the wall. Every time we come in, we are promptly seated, even if they are obviously very busy. When we leave, again, even if it's busy, one, usually several, of the staff thank us for coming in. This second thing definitely isn't a necessity, since I'm not that brainwashed by American service expectations (No Sitting At The Register), but if the owner or workers there are reading this, know it is noticed and appreciated. Great sushi and so consistent in that that I've been going here for over five years.

Super friendly staff. Every dish was super yummy. Prices were decent. Everything looked clean. Health department was there when I went and they were passing everything so that always a plus!!!

Every experience I've had at this restaurant has been amazing. I took it two year hiatus moved out of state and came back. Jessie remembered me and not only that remembered my favorite roll. They put dedication and hard work into their menu, and it's just a wonderful experience. I recommend the Knight Roll, and the Pink Lady.

JJ's sushi was quite good! I enjoyed almost everything we got from the all you can eat menu. Service was prompt and I'd say it had a normal strip-mall sushi ambiance
